Work is for suckers
I quit my job at Hafr al-Sucken. I gave my two weeks notice two weeks ago, but was shamed into finishing the term. This means, minus the week I'll be taking off for Christmas family hijinks, three and a half more weeks of poorly compensated heck. I've already had a couple meeting with potential clients for private tutoring, which may cover my expenses or may not. But in any case I won't be at Kis my-Baten any more.
Our bus driver had a heart attack today while driving us to school. I was asleep, but apparently he pulled the bus to a stop and hunched over onto the wheel.
Some wires got crossed today in the cord to the tape player I was using in class. The thing exploded with a bang and a puff of smoke, and the kids thought it was high-larious.
